To make this even more effective, work out before you stop your fast. Workout from 4–5. Then if you can wait an hour. Make sure your workout is all body, multi-joint, short, hard, and fast. Warm-up, blast out a 15–20 minute workout, and you are done. You might also check out Tabata workouts, which are the ultimate in short workouts. Warm-up, work out at 100% effort for 20 seconds, rest for ten seconds, and repeat 8 times. A 4-minute workout!
Why does this work out after fasting all day? Because there is a study that shows fasting, followed by working out will cause the body to spike its production of HGH or human growth hormone. It’s like a designer drug made by your own body. And the reason that you wait is to let your body produce and distribute the HGH. As soon as you eat; the HGH production stops.
Intermittent fasting purportedly will also make you lose fat, not lose muscle but actually gain it, it will help your body to rest and clean itself, it will make you more sensitive to insulin and is good for your brain.
So, keep eating the way you are eating, reduce your eating window to 4–8 hours, workout after a day of fasting, and I would venture that you can lose 10–40 pounds, depending on how many you have to lose.

Pneumonia is an infection in one or both lungs
Pneumonia causes inflammation in the alveoli
The alveoli are filled with fluid or pus, making it difficult to breath.
DEFINITION :
Inflammation and consolidation of lung tissue due to an infectious agent
Consolidation: ‘ inflammatory induration of a normally aerated lung due to the presence of cellular exudative in alveoli.’
How does pneumonia develop .. ??
Most of the time, the body filters organisms

The point to boost your confidence:
Once we believe in ourselves, then we can risk curiosity, surprise, spontaneous joy, or any experience that manifests a human spirit.
One thing that has kept me behind for many years following my dreams is the fear of failure… and the lack of confidence I need to overcome this fear.
I think this is something we all have to face. Key question: How can you overcome that fear?
By working on your confidence and self-confidence. Without really thinking about it in those terms, that’s what I’ve been doing for years, and this is what finally helped me overcome my fears, and finally push my dreams forward.
I still have that fear, no doubt. But now I know that I can defeat them, that I can break down that wall of fear and come out the other side. I’ve done it many times right now, and it will lead to more success than success.

Many of the things you proposed make people feel better about themselves and really help build confidence. However, I am generally interested in reading your input on this topic. Time for your own plans and dreams Ka, wow, doing things differently than most people and being “fitting” in general can be difficult with less confidence.

In this article, I use them interchangeably, even if there is a subtle but probably… important difference ... The difference is that you believe that you deserve respect from others (self-esteem) and that you are on your own. Believe (confidence). In the end, both amount to the same thing, and finally, the actions I follow boost both self-esteem and confidence.
Controlling your self-confidence
If you lack confidence, is it possible to do things that will change? Is your confidence under your control?
Although it may not seem like it, if you are low on confidence, I strongly believe that you can do things to boost your confidence. It’s not genetic, and you don’t have to depend on others to boost your confidence. And if you believe you are not very capable, not very smart, not very attractive, etc ... it can be changed.
You can be worthy of someone's respect, and someone who can chase what he wants despite the naysaying of others.
You can do this by taking control of your life and controlling your self-confidence. By taking concrete actions that improve your worthiness, your self-image, you can increase confidence, without the help of anyone else.
Below, I outline 25 things that will help you do just that. None of them are revolutionary, none of them will do it themselves. The list is definitely not exhaustive. These are just my favorite things, stuff that works for me.
And you don't have to do it all, as if this is a recipe… Choose and choose the one that appeals to you, maybe just a couple at first, and try them. If they work, try another. If they don't, give it a try.
Here they are not in a specific order:
1. Prove yourself. This may sound obvious, but it's amazing how much difference shower and shaving can make for your self-confidence and your self-image. There have been days when I completely changed my mood with this little thing.
2. Dress nicely. Personalization of the first item above… If you dress nicely, you will feel good about yourself. You will be successful and present and ready to solve the world. Now, dressing up means having something different for everyone… doesn’t mean you have to wear a $ 500 outfit, but it does mean you can have casual clothes that look great and present.
3. Photoshop your self-image. Our self-image means so much to us, more than we often feel. There is a mental picture of ourselves and it determines how much confidence we have in ourselves. But this picture is not fixed and changeable. You can change it. Use your mental photoshopping skills and work on your self-image. If it's not very good, replace it. Figure out why you see yourself that way and find a way to fix it.
4. Think positive. One of the things I learned when I started running, about two years ago, was how to replace negative thoughts with positive ones (see next thing). How can I really change my thoughts, and in doing so great things happen? With these little skills, I was able to train and run for a marathon in one year. It looks very small, so Norman Vincent Peel, but my god this works. Seriously. Try it if you don't have one.
5. Kill negative thoughts. Going hand in hand with the above thing, but it’s so important that I made it a different thing. You have to learn to be aware of your self-talk, your own thoughts about yourself, and what you are doing. Sometimes when I was running my mind would start saying, “This is very difficult. I want to stop and watch TV. "Well, I soon learned to recognize this negative self, and I soon learned a trick that changed everything in my life: I would imagine that negative thinking is a mistake, and I would consciously look for these mistakes." When I caught someone, I would stump him (mentally) and squash him. Kill him Then replace it with a positive one. ("Kiman, I can do this! Only one mile left!")

6. Know yourself. When going into battle, the intelligent commoner learns to know his enemy very, very well. You cannot defeat the enemy without knowing it. And when you are trying to remove the negative self-image and replace it with confidence, your enemy is yourself. Get to know yourself better. Start listening to your thoughts. Start writing a journal about yourself and your thoughts about yourself and analyze why you have such negative thoughts. And then think about the good things about you, the things you can do well, the things you like. Start thinking about your limitations, and then whether they are real limitations or just where you are allowed to put them, artificially. Dig deep inside you, and you will come out with even more confidence.
7. Act positively. Rather than just thinking positive, you have to put it into action. Action, indeed, is the key to developing confidence. Learning to think positive is one thing, but when you start acting on it, you change yourself, one action at a time. You are what you do, and so if you change what you do, change what you are. Act positively, take action instead of not being able to tell yourself, you will not be positive. Positively talk to people, put energy into your actions. You will soon begin to notice a difference.
8. Be kind and generous. Oh, so polite. If this is too polite for you, go ahead. But for the rest of you, know that being kind to others, and being generous with yourself and your time and what you have, is a great way to improve your self-image. You act according to the golden rule, and you feel good about yourself, and think you are a good person. It gives wonders for your confidence, trust me.

9. Be prepared. If you don't feel good about yourself, it's hard to believe. Beat that feeling by preparing yourself as much as possible. Consider taking an exam: If you have not studied, you will not have much confidence in your abilities to perform well in the exam. But if you don’t study your butt, you’re ready, and you’ll have more confidence. Now think of life as your test, and prepare yourself.
10. Know your principles and live them. What are the principles on which your life is built? If you don't know, you will get in trouble, because your life seems directionless. For me, I try to live the golden rule (and often fail). This is my key principle and I try to live my life with it. I have others, but they are mostly related to this rule (the main exception is "my enthusiasm alive"). Think about your principles ... you may have them but you may not have given them more thought. Now think about whether you really live by these principles, or if you just believe in them but don’t act on them.
11. Speak slowly. Such a simple thing, but it can make a big difference in how other people understand you. The person in authority, the authority, speaks softly. It shows confidence. The person who thinks he is not fit to listen will speak quickly because he is not waiting for something that is not worth listening to. If you don’t feel confident in the person speaking slowly, try doing it a little. It will make you feel more confident. Of course, don’t take it to an extreme position, but just don’t rush.
12. .nacha .bha. I have a horrible posture, so giving this advice would seem hypocritical to me, but I know it works because I try so often. When I remind myself to be tall and straight, I feel better about myself. I imagine the rope pulling the top of my head towards the sky, and the rest of my body straightens accordingly. On the one hand, people who are tall and confident are more attractive. In my book, it’s a good thing any day.
13. Increase capacity. How do you feel more capable? By becoming more capable. And how do you do that? By studying and practicing. Do only small bits at a time. If you want to become a more competent writer, for example, do not try to solve the whole business of writing all at once. Just start writing more. Write a journal, blog, short stories, do some freelance writing. The more you write, the better you will become. Write 30 minutes for the day (for example) to write, and practice will increase your fitness.
14. Set a small goal and achieve it. People often make the mistake of shooting the moon and then when they fail, they get frustrated. Instead, shoot to achieve something more. Set a goal that you know you can achieve, and then achieve it. You will feel good about it. Now set another small goal and achieve it. The smaller the goals you achieve, the more you will be in it and the better you feel. Soon you should set big (but still achievable) goals and achieve them too.
15. Change a small habit. Not as big as quitting smoking. Just a little, like writing things. Or wake up 10 minutes earlier. Or drink a glass of water when you wake up. Something small that you know you can do. Do for a month. When you complete that, you feel like millions of rupees.
16. Focus on solutions. If you are a plaintiff or focus on problems, change your focus now. Focusing on solutions instead of problems is one of the best things you can do for your confidence and career. "I'm fat and lazy!" So how can you solve that? "But I can't inspire myself!" So how can you solve that? "But I don't have the strength!" So what is compromise?
17. Smile. The second triangle. But it works. I feel better immediately when I smile, and it helps me to be kind to others as well. A little small thing whose chain might be a reaction. Don't waste your time and energy.
18. Volunteer. Related to the above “Be kind and generous” item, but more specific. Now is the holiday season can you find time to volunteer for a good cause, to spread the excitement of a little holiday, to make someone else's life better? It will be some of the best times you have ever spent, and the amazing side effect is that you will immediately feel right about yourself.
19. Be grateful. I am grateful to you. Trust me, because anyone who has been reading this blog for a very long time knows it well. But I put it here because despite being thankful for what you have in life, what other people have given you is a very polite activity… it can also be a very positive and rewarding activity that will improve your self-image. read more.
20. Exercise. Happy, I put this on almost every list. But if I leave it out of this list I'll do it to get you off. Exercise has been one of my most empowering activities in the last few years, and it makes me feel so good about myself.
You only have to walk a few times a week, and you will see the benefits. Start the habit.
21. Empower yourself with knowledge. Empowering yourself is usually the best strategy to boost confidence. You can do that in many ways, but one surefire way to empower yourself is through knowledge. With the same vein of bringing skills and preparation વાથી becoming more knowledgeable, you will gain more confidence… and you will become more knowledgeable through research and study. The internet is an important tool, of course, but so are the people around you, the people you want, books, magazines, and educational institutions.
22. Do something you are thinking of. What's on your to-do list sitting there? Do it first thing in the morning, and get it out. You feel great about yourself.
23. Activate. It is always better to do something than not to do it. Of course, doing something can make mistakes… but mistakes are a part of life. This is what we learn. Without mistakes, we will never improve. So don't worry about it. Just do something. Get out of your quagmire and take steps to accomplish something - physical or active.
24. Work on small things. Trying to undertake a huge project or task can be overwhelming and frightening and intimidating for even the best of us. Instead, learn to break small parts and work into explosions. Small accomplishments make you feel good, and they add to the big accomplishments. Always learn to work this way, and soon you will go crazy with confidence.
25. Clean your desk. This sounds like a small, simple thing (then again, for some of you it may not be that small). But it always works wonders for me. If my desk seems to be messing up, and the world around me is in chaos, turning off my desk is the way to control a little bit of my life. It’s quiet in the middle of the storm around me. Here's how.

The nematodes that cause disease can be divided into two groups:
the ones that inhabit the gastrointestinal tract of the host, and the ones that are found in the blood and other tissues of the host.

- Cestodes or tapeworms have flat, ribbon-shaped bodies that are segmented.
- The head (scolex) of the tapeworm has suckers for attachment and sometimes has hooks.

- The tapeworm does not have a digestive system but rather absorbs nutrients directly. Tapeworms are often associated with beef, lamb, pork, and fish. Transmission of these organisms to humans often occurs when the flesh of these animals is eaten either uncooked or undercooked.
- Some tapeworms are transmitted to humans from ingesting fleas infected with dog or cat tapeworms.
- Trematodes or flukes are bilaterally symmetrical, flat, and leaf- shaped.
- They have suckers that hold the organism in place as well as suck fluids from the host.

- Most trematodes have a complicated life cycle, which may include one or more intermediary hosts.
- Usually, the worms begin with a larval form developing within the egg.
- These larvae escape into the environment, where they are taken up by one or more intermediate hosts such as a snail. Eventually, the last stage is a tail-bearing larva known as a cercaria, which is released from the snail and is ready to attach to the susceptible host.
- For example, if a human is wading in water and the cercaria of Schistosoma mansoni have been discharged into that water, the cercaria can penetrate the skin and work its way through the circulation to the liver and intestine, where it matures and lays eggs.
How do mosquitoes cause disease?
The female mosquito needs the blood of a warm-blooded animal for the proper development of her eggs. To get this, she needs to bite such an animal.
The mosquito can take in as much as twice its body weight in blood, thus giving it a relatively good chance of picking up infectious agents such as malarial parasites circulating within the host’s capillaries.
The anatomy of a mosquito is particularly adapted to transmit disease . The mouthparts of the female mosquito consist of sharp stylets that are forced through the host’s skin to the subcutaneous capillaries. One of these needlelike stylets is hollow, and the mosquito’s saliva is pumped through it.
The saliva increases blood flow and prevents clotting as the victim’s blood is sucked into a tube formed by the other mouthparts of the insect. The saliva can also cause allergic reactions (the itch of a mosquito bite). After the mosquito has taken more than one blood meal, she can transmit disease from one animal to the next. Viruses found in the blood of the first animal are then transmitted to the next, and so on.
Mosquitoes in an area of arthropod-borne disease can be trapped and identified microscopically, and the blood they have ingested can be tested to see on which kinds of animals the different species are feeding. Precise identification of species and subspecies of these genera is important because different species of mosquitoes differ greatly in their breeding areas, time of feeding, and choice of host.
Identification depends largely on microscopic examination of antennae, wings, claws, mating apparatus, and other features. Correct identification is often essential in designing specific control measures.

Parasites of Arthropods and Helminths
A number of disease-causing multicellular organisms are also studied using the same microscopic and immunological techniques that are used to study microorganisms and viruses. As a result, they are included here. Most of the medically important multicellular parasites fall into one of two groups: arthropods and helminths.
The arthropods are more highly advanced on the evolutionary scale and include the insects, ticks, lice, and mites.
Their main medical importance is that they serve as vectors that may transmit microorganisms and viruses to humans. The helminths, which include the nematodes (roundworms), cestodes (tapeworms), and the trematodes (flukes), are more primitive animals. In only a few instances do they transmit microbial infections to their host animal. Instead, they cause disease by invading the host’s tissues or robbing it of nutrients.
Most multicellular parasites have been well controlled in the industrialized nations, but they still cause death and misery to many millions in the economically underdeveloped areas of the world.
Our need to know about these problems has come about because more people are traveling farther, more people are moving from one place to another, and more goods are being exchanged worldwide. A clear example of this occurred in New York City in the summer of 1999 when West Nile fever was contracted by a number of people.
At least 61 persons suffered serious disease and seven people died. A significant number of crows died at the same time and were found to be carrying the disease. In addition to birds and people, horses, cats, and dogs were also found to carry the virus. It is not clear how the virus arrived in New York City, but it perhaps could have been carried by a traveler from Africa, West Asia, or the Middle East, where it is commonly found. Members of Ascomycota, or ascomycetes, commonly known as sac fungi, are named for their characteristic reproductive structure, the saclikeascus (pl., asci; Greek askos, sac).
Ascomycetes are ecologically important in freshwater, marine,and terrestrial habitats because they degrade many chemically stable organic compounds, including lignin, cellulose, and collagen.
Many species are quite familiar and economically important. For example, most of the red, brown, and blue-green molds that cause food spoilage are ascomycetes.
The powdery mildews that attack plant leaves and the fungi that cause chestnut blight and Dutchelm disease are ascomycetes. Many yeasts as well as edible morels and truffles are also asco mycetes.
The pink bread mold Neurospora crassa is an important research tool in genetics and biochemistry. A new ascomycete genus, Archaeorhizomyces, was described in 2011.
The group is globally distributed and is commonly found in association with the roots of pine trees but does not appear to be mycorrhizal, as it can be grown in pure culture. Like Neuros pora and Aspergillus, Archaeorhizomyces spp. are filamentous, producing slender hyphae.
Some ascomycetes are yeasts, while others have a life cycle that alternates between yeast and filamentous forms. The life cycle of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, commonly known ashas been invaluable for understanding the loss of cell cycle control that occurs in cancerous cells.
Filamentous ascomycetes form septate hyphae. Asexual re production is common and is associated with the production of conidia .
Sexual reproduction involves ascus formation, with each ascus usually bearing eight haploid asco spores, although some species can produce over 1,000. Such hyphae are said to be ascogenous.
Mating starts when two strains of opposite mating types form ascogenous hyphae into which pairs of nuclei migrate.
One nucleus of each pair originates from a "male" mycelium (antheridium) or cell and the other from a "female" organ or cell (ascogonium) that has fused with it. As the ascogenous hyphae grow, the paired nuclei divide so that there is one pair of nuclei in each cell.
After the ascogenous hyphae have matured, nuclear fusion occurs at the hyphal tips in the ascus mother cells. The diploid zygote nucleus then undergoes meiosis, and the resulting four haploid nuclei divide mitotically again to produce a row of eight brewer's or baker's yeast, is well understood . S. ceretfisiae alternates between haploid and diploid states. As long as nutrients remain plentiful, haploid and diploid cells undergo mitosis to produce haploid and diploid daughter cells, respec tively.
Each daughter cell leaves a scar on the mother cell as it separates, and daughter cells bud only from unscarred regions of the cell wall. When a mother cell has no more unscarred cell wall re maining, it can no longer repro duce and will senesce (die).
When nutrients are limited, diploid S. ceretfisiae cells undergo meio- sis to produce four haploid cells that remain bound within a com mon cell wall, the ascus. Upon theaddition of nutrients, two haploid cells of opposite mating types come into contact and fuse to cre ate a diploid.
Typically only cells of opposite mating types can fuse; this process is tightly regulated by the action of pheromones.

Zygomycota contains fungi informally called zygomycetes.
Most live on decaying plant and animal matter in the soil; a few are parasites of plants, insects, and animals, including humans.
The hyphae of zygomycetes are coenocytic, with many haploid nuclei. Asexual spores develop in sporangia at the tips of aerial hyphae and are usually wind dispersed. Sexual reproduction produces tough, thick-walled zygotes called zygospores that can remain dormant when the environment is too harsh for growth of the fungus.
The mold Rhizopus stolonifer is a common member of this division. This fungus grows on the surface of moist, carbohydrate-rich foods, such as breads, fruits, and vegetables.
Hyphae called rhizoids extend into the bread and absorb nutrients. Other hyphae (stolons) become erect, then arch back into the substratum, forming new rhizoids.
Still others remain erect and produce at their tips asexual sporangia filled with black spores, giving the mold its characteristic color. Each spore, when liberated, can germinate to start a new mycelium.
Rhizopus spp. usually reproduce asexually, but if food becomes scarce or environmental conditions unfavorable, sexual reproduction occurs . Sexual reproduction requires compatible strains of opposite mating types. When the two mat ing strains are close, each produces a different hormone, called a pheromone, that causes their hyphae to form projections called progametangia; these mature into gametangia.
After fusion of the gametangia, the nuclei of the two gametes fuse, forming a zygote.
The zygote develops a thick, rough, black coat and be comes a dormant zygospore.
Meiosis often occurs at the time of germination; the zygospore then splits open and produces a hypha that bears an asexual sporangium to begin the cycle again.
One member of the genus Rhizopus is important because it is involved in the rice disease known as seedling blight.
If one considers that rice feeds more people on Earth than any other crop, the impli cations of this disease are obvious. it was thought that the fungus secreted a toxin that kills rice seedlings, so scientists set about isolating the toxin and the genes that produce it.
Much to everyone's surprise, an a-proteobacterium, Burkholde ria sp. found growing within the fungus produces the toxin.

Unlike protists, fungi are primarily terrestrial organisms. They have a global distribution from polar to tropical regions. Fungi are saprophytes, securing nutrients from dead organic material by re leasing degradative enzymes into the environment.
This enables their absorption of the soluble products-a process sometimes called osmotrophy. Fungi are important decomposers. They degrade complex organic materials in the environment to simple organic compounds and inorganic molecules. In this way, carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, and other critical constituents of dead organisms are released and made available for living organisms. Many fungi are pathogenic, with over 5,000 species known to attack economically valuable crops and many other plants.
About20 new human fungal pathogens are documented each year. Conversely, fungi also form beneficial relationships with other or ganisms. For example, the vast majority of vascular plant roots form important associations with fungi called mycorrhizae.
Mycorrhizae
Fungi, especially yeasts (single-celled fungi), are essential to many industrial processes involving fermentation. Examples in clude the making of bread, wine, beer, cheeses, and soy sauce. They are also important in the commercial production of many organic acids (citric, gallic) and certain drugs (ergometrine, cor tisone), and in the manufacture of many antibiotics (penicillin, griseofulvin) and the immunosuppressive drug cyclosporine.
In addition, fungi are important research tools in the study of fundamental biological processes. Cytologists, geneticists, bio chemists, biophysicists, and microbiologists regularly use fungi in their research. The yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae is the best understood eukaryotic cell. It has been a valuable model organism in the study of cell biology, genetics, and cancer.
Fungal Structure
The body or vegetative structure of a fungus is called a thallus (pl., thalli). It varies in complexity and size. Single-cell microscopic fungi are referred to as yeasts, while multicellular masses are called molds.
Fungi also include macroscopic puffballs and mushrooms. Like most bacteria, fungi possess cell walls; however,fungal cell walls are usually made of chitin. Chitin is a strong but flexible nitrogen containing polysaccharide consisting of N-acetylglucosamine residues. Instead of chitin, some fungal cell walls are composed of other polysaccharides such as man nans, galactosans, or cellulose.
A yeast is a unicellular fungus with a single nucleus that reproduces either asexually by budding and transverse division or sexually through spore formation. Each bud that separates can grow into a new cell, and some group together to form colo nies.
Generally yeast cells are larger than bacteria and are commonly spherical to egg-shaped. They lack flagella and cilia but have most other eukaryotic organelles. The thallus of a mold consists of long, branched, threadlike filaments of cells called hyphae (s., hypha; Greek hyphe, web) that form a tangled mass called a mycelium (pl., mycelia). In some fungi, protoplasm streams through hyphae,uninterrupted by cross walls.
These hyphae are called coenocytic or aseptate hyphae. The hyphae of other fungi have cross walls called septa {s., septum) with either a single pore or multiple pores that enable cytoplasmic streaming. These hyphae are termed septate hyphae.
Hyphae are composed of an outer cell wall and an inner lumen, which contains the cytosol and organelles. A plasma membrane sur rounds the cytoplasm and lies next to the cell wall. The filamentous nature of hyphae results in a large surface area relative to the volume of cytoplasm. This makes adequate nutrient absorption possible.
Fungal Reproduction
Reproduction in fungi can be either asexual or sexual.
Asexual reproduction is accomplished in several ways:
1) a parent cell undergoes mitosis and divides into two daughter cells by a cen tral constriction and formation of a new cell wall
2) mitosis in vegetative cells may be concurrent with budding to produce a daughter cell.
This is very common in yeasts. The formation of asexual spores often accompanies asexual reproduction and is usually used as a means of dispersal. There are many types of asexual spores, each with its own name. Arthroconidia (arthrospores) are formed when hyphae frag ment through splitting of the cell wall or septum. Sporangiospores develop within a sac (sporangium; pl., sporangia) at a hyphal tip. CONIDIOSPORES are spores that are not enclosed in a sac but produced at the tips or sides of the hypha. BLASTOSPORES are produced from a vegetative mother cell budding.
Sexual reproduction in fungi involves the fusion of compatible nuclei. Homothallic fungal species are self-fertilizing and produce sexually compatible gametes on the same mycelium. Heterothallic species require outcrossing between different but sexually compatible mycelia. Depending on the species, sexualfusion may occur between haploid gametes, gamete-producing bodies called gametangia, or hyphae. Sometimes both the cytoplasm and haploid nuclei fuse immediately to produce the diploid zygote, as seen in higher eukaryotes. Usually, however,there is a delay between cytoplasmic and nuclear fusion.
Thisproduces a dikaryotic STAGE in which cells contain two separate haploid nuclei (N + N), one from each parent.After a period of dikaryotic existence, the two nuclei fuse and undergo meiosis to yield haploid spores. This is seen in both ascomycetes and basidiomycetes, so these are sometimes re ferred to as dikaryotic fungi.
Fungal spores, both asexual and sexual, are important for fusionHaploid stage (N)several reasons. They enable fungi to survive environmental stresses such as desiccation, nutrient limitation, and extreme temperatures, although they are not as stress resistant as bacterial endospores.
They aid in fungal dissemination, which helps ex plain their wide distribution. Because spores are often small and light, they can remain suspended in air for long periods and are often spread by adhering to the bodies of insects and other animals.
The bright colors and fluffy textures of many molds often are due to their aerial hyphae and spores. Finally, the size, shape, color, and number of spores are useful in the identification of fungal species.
