How can I gain weight quickly

About two-thirds of people in the US are either overweight or obese. However, there are also many people with the opposite problem of being too skinny. This is a concern, as being underweight can be just as bad for your health as being obese. Additionally, many people who are not clinically underweight still want to gain some muscle.

What Does Underweight Really Mean?

Being underweight is defined as having a body mass index (BMI) below 18.5. This is estimated to be less than the body mass needed to sustain optimal health. Conversely, over 25 is considered overweight and over 30 is considered obese.

How to Gain Weight the Healthy way if you want to gain weight, it’s very important to do it right. Binging on soda and donuts may help you gain weight, but it can destroy your health at the same time. If you’re underweight, you want to gain a balanced amount of muscle mass and subcutaneous fat rather than a lot of unhealthy belly fat. There are plenty of normal-weight people who get type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and other health problems often associated with obesity.

Eat More Calories Than Your Body BurnsThe most important thing you can do to gain weight is to create a calorie surplus, meaning you eat more calories than your body needs. If you want to gain weight slowly and steadily, aim for 300–500 calories more than you burn each day according to the calculator. If you want to gain weight fast, aim for around 700–1,000 calories above your maintenance level. Keep in mind that calorie calculators only provide estimates. Your needs may vary by several hundred calories per day, give or take.

10 More Tips to Gain Weight

  1. Don't drink water before meals. This can fill your stomach and make it harder to get in enough calories.
  2. Eat more often. ...
  3. Drink milk. ...
  4. Try weight gainer shakes. ...
  5. Use bigger plates. ...
  6. Add cream to your coffee. ...
  7. Take creatine. ...
  8. Get quality sleep.

The Bottom Line :

Many factors can affect your appetite, including physical conditions, mental conditions, medications and vitamin or mineral deficiencies. However, small changes can make a big difference. You could try increasing your appetite by inviting people over for meals and cooking with new recipes using spices, herbs, and high-calorie ingredients to make food more appealing and nutritious.

How do I lose 60 lbs in 30 days?

Caesar salad, though something that sounds healthy, is loaded with calories. It’s 98% fat. A 2 tablespoon serving is 180 calories, of which 160 are fat calories. An entire mango is about 210 calories and contains 2% fat. Further, 15% of caesar salad is saturated fat, the worst kind of fat.

A better bet might be to make your own salad dressing. Take a mango, peel it, zip it up in your blender, and you will get a nice tasting salad dressing with no more calories than a mango. A mango is 2% fat. Or if you like things a little Picante, try the green sauce. A 2 tablespoon serving is about 10 calories.

If you want fat - and fats can be good if they are healthy fats - try adding an avocado. Or sprinkle on some nuts.

Otherwise, your diet sounds good.

You might also tweak your diet by increasing the amount of time that you don’t eat or that you fast. We all fast every 24 hours, it’s called sleeping.

If you skip breakfast, then lunch, then eat your three meals between 4–12 at night, you will be in taking the same amount of calories. Or you could eat between 12 noon and 8 in the evening. Same thing. Either way, you would increase your fasting from 8 hours to about 16 hours. When you do that your body burns fat, builds muscle, etc.

To make this even more effective, work out before you stop your fast. Workout from 4–5. Then if you can wait an hour. Make sure your workout is all body, multi-joint, short, hard, and fast. Warm-up, blast out a 15–20 minute workout, and you are done. You might also check out Tabata workouts, which are the ultimate in short workouts. Warm-up, work out at 100% effort for 20 seconds, rest for ten seconds, and repeat 8 times. A 4-minute workout!

Why does this work out after fasting all day? Because there is a study that shows fasting, followed by working out will cause the body to spike its production of HGH or human growth hormone. It’s like a designer drug made by your own body. And the reason that you wait is to let your body produce and distribute the HGH. As soon as you eat; the HGH production stops.

Intermittent fasting purportedly will also make you lose fat, not lose muscle but actually gain it, it will help your body to rest and clean itself, it will make you more sensitive to insulin and is good for your brain.

So, keep eating the way you are eating, reduce your eating window to 4–8 hours, workout after a day of fasting, and I would venture that you can lose 10–40 pounds, depending on how many you have to lose.

You might download Eat Stop Eat pdf by Brad Pilon, or buy the book, which is a bit pricy, for more info on fasting.

immunity : type of Adaptive immunity

Adaptive immunity refers to a type of acquired immunity a host develops after exposer to foreign substances or transfer of antibodies or lymphocytes from an immune donor.

1. Naturally acquired immunity

2. Artificially acquired immunity

(1) Naturally acquired immunity

  •  Naturally acquired active immunity
  •  Naturally acquired passive immunity

Naturally acquired active immunity occurs when an individual`s immune system contacts an antigen such as a pathogen that causes inflammation. the immune system responds by producing antibodies and activated lymphocytes that inactive or destroys the pathogen. the immunity produced can be either lifelong, as with measles or chickenpox, or last for only a few years, as with influenza.

Naturally acquired passive immunity involves the transfer of antibodies from one host to another. examples, some of a pregnant woman`s antibodies pass across the placenta to her fetus. if the woman is immune to diseases such as polio or diphtheria, this placental transfer also gives her fetus and newborn temporary immunity to these diseases. certain other antibodies can pass from a mother to her offspring when the child is fed breast milk. these maternal antibodies are essential for providing immunity to the newborn for the few weeks or months of life, as the child`s own immune system matures. naturally acquired passive immunity generally lasts only a short time.

(2) artificially acquired immunity

  • artificially acquired active immunity
  • artificially acquired passive immunity
artificially acquired active immunity results when an animal is vaccinated that is, intentionally exposed to foreign material and induced to form antibodies and activated lymphocytes. A vaccine may consist of the preparation of killed microorganisms genetically engineered organisms or their products or inactivated bacterial toxins` that bind to the whole bacterium, virus, toxin, and so forth to inactivate or help remove them from the host.

artificially acquired passive immunity results when antibodies or lymphocytes that have been produced by one host have been introduced into another this type of immunity is immediate, it is short-lived, lasting only a few weeks to a few months. an example of artificially acquired passive immunity would be botulinum antitoxin produced in horses and given to humans suffering from botulism food poisoning.

Pneumonia - classification, symptoms.

 PNEUMONIA :

Pneumonia is an infection in one or both lungs

Pneumonia causes inflammation in the alveoli

The alveoli are filled with fluid or pus, making it difficult to breath.

DEFINITION :

Inflammation and consolidation of lung tissue due to an infectious agent

Consolidation: ‘ inflammatory induration of a normally aerated lung due to the presence of cellular exudative in alveoli.’

How does pneumonia develop .. ??

Most of the time, the body filters organisms

This keeps the lungs from becoming infected

But organisms sometimes enter the lungs and cause infections

This is more likely to occur when :

The immune system is weak

An organism is very strong

The body fails to filter the organism

Factors that influence pneumonia :

Cigarette smoking

Upper respiratory tract infections

Alcohols

Corticosteroid therapy

Old age

Recent influenza infection

Pre-existing disease

Reduced host defenses against bacteria :

Reduced immune defenses: e.G., Corticosteroid treatment, diabetes, malignancy

Reduced cough reflex: e.G., Post-operative

Disordered mucociliary clearance: e.G., Anaesthetic agents

Bulbar or vocal cord palsy (nerve impulses to your voice box are disrupted

Aspiration of nasopharyngeal or gastric secretions :

Immobility or reduced conscious level

Vomiting, dysphagia, achalasia, or severe reflux

Nasogastric intubation

Bacteria introduced into the lower respiratory tract

Endotracheal intubation/tracheostomy

Infected ventilators/nebulisers/bronchoscopes

Dental or sinus infection

Bacteraemia

Abdominal sepsis

Intravenous cannula infection

Infected emboli

How does pneumonia develop..??

1. pathology

i) congestion: Presence of proteinaceous exudate and often of bacteria in the alveoli

Ii) red hepatization: Presence of erythrocytes in the cellular intra-alveolar exudate

Neutrophils are also present

Bacteria are occasionally seen in cultures of alveolar specimens collection

Gray hepatization :

No new erythrocytes are extravasating, and those already present have been lysed and degraded

A neutrophil is the predominant cell

Fibrin deposition is abundant

Bacteria have disappeared

Corresponds with successful containment of the infection and improvement in gas exchange

Types of pneumonia :

i) anatomical classification :

Bronchopneumonia affects the lungs in patches around bronchi

Lobar pneumonia is an infection that only involves a single lobe, or section of a lung

Interstitial pneumonia involves the areas in between the alveoli

Clinical CLASSIFICATION :

Community-acquired – typical/atypical/aspiration

Pneumonia in elderly

Nosocomial – hap, vap, hcap

Pneumonia in an immunocompromised host

Community-acquired pneumonia (CAP)

Definition :

An infection of the pulmonary parenchyma

Associated with symptoms of a/c infection

Presence of a/c infiltrates on car or auscultatory findings consistent with pneumonia

In a patient not hospitalized or residing in LTC facility for > 14 days prior

Hospital-acquired pneumonia – hap

Hap is defined as pneumonia that occurs 48 hours or more after admission, which was not incubating at the time of admission

Ventilator-associated pneumonia – vap

Vap refers to pneumonia that arises more than 48-72 hours after endotracheal intubation

Health care-associated pneumonia hcap

Hcap includes any patient

Who was hospitalized in an acute care hospital for 2 or more days within 90 days of the infection

Resided in a nursing home or long term care facility

Received recent antibiotic therapy, chemotherapy or wound care within past 30 days of the current infection

Attended a hospital or hemodialysis clinic

Atypical pneumonia –

Clinically – Subacute onset, fever less common or intense, minimal sputum

Microbiologically – Sputum does not reveal a predominant microbial etiology on routine smears such as gram’s stain and zinc stain or culture

Radiologically – Patchy infiltrates or interstitial pattern

Hemogram – Peripheral leucocytosis are less common or intense

Causes – Mycobacterium pneumoniae, Chlamydophila pneumoniae, Legionell pneumoniae

Aspiration pneumonia

An overt episode of aspiration or bronchial obstruction by a foreign body

Seen in – alcoholism, nocturnal esophageal reflux, a prolonged session in the dental chair, epilepsy

Usually anaerobes

Elderly

Infection has a more gradual onset, with less fever and cough

Often with decline in mental status or confusion and generalized weakness

Often with less readily elicited signs of consolidation

Microbiology :

Etiology – bacterial, viral, mycobacterial, fungal, parasitic

Microbiological diagnosis – 40 – 71% (streptococcus pneumonae most common)

Viruses – 10 – 35%

In india –

Streptococci pneumonia – 35.3 %

Staphylococcus aureus – 23.5%

Klebsella pneumonia – 20.5%

Haemophilus influenzae – 8.8%

Mycoplasma pneumoniae

Legionella pneumophila

General symptoms

High grade fever

Cough- productive

Pleuritic chest pain

Breathlessness

Additional symptoms

Sharp or stabbing chest pain

Headache

Excessive sweating and clammy skin

Loss of appetite and fatigue

Confusion, especially in older people

Investigations :

Sputum : gram staining, afb, giemsa or methenamine silver stain, koh mount, culture

X ray – homogenous opacity with air bronchogram

Lobar pneumonia – peripheral airspace consolidation pneumonia

Without prominent involvement of the bronchial tree

Lobar pneumonia :

Peripheral airspace consolidation pneumonia

Without prominent involvement of the bronchial tree

Broncho pneumonia :

Centrilobular and peribronchiolar opacity pneumonia

Tends to be multi focal

Patchy in distribution rather than localized to any one lung region

Interstitial pneumonia :

Peribroncho-vascular infiltrate

Mycoplasma, viral

diphtheria

 Coryneform bacteria :

Gram-positive,  non-acid fast, non-motile

Irregular stained with granules

Club shaped swelling at one or both ends so the name

Important pathogen

Diptheros meaning leather

Corynebacterium diphtheriae :

Caused diphtheria

slender rods

clubbing at both ends

pleomorphic

non-capsulate/ acid-fast, gram-positive

granules are composed of polymetaphosphate

staining with Loeffler’s methylene blue show bluish-purple metachromatic granules with polar bodies

CLASSIFICATION :

Corynebacterium diphtheria and diphtheroid (look like C.diphtheria ) are gram-positive, club-shaped rods.

some are saprophytic

some produce disease in animals

C. diphtheria is the most important pathogen in the group

Morphology and cultural characteristics :

small gram-positive Bacilli; arrangement = palisade or Chinese letters

growth on blood agar – raised, translucent, grey colonies

Classification McLeod :

Classified in 3 types

gravis : produce most serious hemorrhagic; paralytic complications- epidemic

intermedius : hemorrhagic

mitis: obstructive complications, endemic geographic locations differ, testing for toxigenic is more important

Corynebacterium :

3 morphological types of C.diphtheria are found on tellurite containing media :

Mitis: black colonies with a grey periphery

Gravis: large, grey colonies

Intermedius: small, dull grey to black

all produce an immunologically identical toxin

CULTURAL CHARCTERISTICS :

Incubation 35-37⁰C for 24 hours

they prefer a pH of 7.8 – 8.0 for good growth

they require access to oxygen

Catalase positive

RESISTANCE :

can be killed at 58⁰C in 10 minutes

100⁰C in 1 minute

survive in blankets, floor dust, toys inanimate objects

What is Diphtheria …?

An infection of local tissue of upper respiratory tract with the production of toxin which causes systemic effects on the heart and peripheral tissues.

Pharyngeal diphtheria :

Insidious onset of exudative pharyngitis

Exudates spread to form adherent “pseudomembrane”

can lead to respiratory obstruction and death by asphyxiation

Fever not high, but the patient appears toxic

Miltis 80-85%

Some abundant others poorly

Toxin production park William 8

Toxin: M.W. 62,000

Toxin contains 2 components: A & B

A produce toxigenicity by the proteolytic effect

B produces binding

Toxin + Formalin = Toxoid (antigenic, not toxigenic)

Toxin inhibits protein synthesis

Fragment A catalyzes the transfer of ADP ribose from the Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide to the eukaryotic elongation factor 2

Causes involvement with affinity.

Myocarditis

Nerve endings

CLINICAL FEATURES :

Malaise, sore throat, fever

Adherent grey pseudo membrane

Nasal ulcers

Obstruction of larynx and lower airways

Difficulty in swallowing

Lead to Myocarditis, Peripheral neuritis

Paralysis of limbs

Diphtheria- Pseudo-membrane : this may obstruct the airway and result in suffocation.

Corynebacterium :

To prove that an isolate can cause diphtheria, one must demonstrate toxin production.

This is most often done on an Elek plate:

The organism is streaked on a plate containing low iron.

A filter strip containing anti-toxin antibody is placed perpendicular to the streak of the organism

Diffusion of the antibody into the medium and secretion of the toxin into the medium occur.

At the zone of equivalence, a precipitate will form.

Animal testing (obsolete)

PATHOGENICITY :

Bacteria invade, colonise, proliferate

Bacteria are lysogenised by beta phage

Produce toxin

C. diphtheria :

C. diphtheria occurs in the respiratory tract, in wounds, or on the skin of infected preson or normal carriers.

It is spread by droplets or by direct contact

Portal of entry : respiratory tract or skin abrasions.

Diphtheria bacilli colonize and grow on mucous membranes and start to produce toxin, which is then absorbed into the mucous membranes, and even spread by the bloodstream.

TOXICITY AND DIPHTHERIA TOXIN :

Local toxigenic effects : elicit inflammatory responses and necrosis of the faucial mucosa cells formation of pseudo membrane (composed of bacteria, lymphocytes, plasma cells, fibrin, and dead cells), causing respiratory obstruction.

build self confidence

The point to boost your confidence:

Once we believe in ourselves, then we can risk curiosity, surprise, spontaneous joy, or any experience that manifests a human spirit.

One thing that has kept me behind for many years following my dreams is the fear of failure… and the lack of confidence I need to overcome this fear.

I think this is something we all have to face. Key question: How can you overcome that fear?

By working on your confidence and self-confidence. Without really thinking about it in those terms, that’s what I’ve been doing for years, and this is what finally helped me overcome my fears, and finally push my dreams forward.

I still have that fear, no doubt. But now I know that I can defeat them, that I can break down that wall of fear and come out the other side. I’ve done it many times right now, and it will lead to more success than success.

This post was inspired by Finnish reader Nick, who asked for an article about self-worth and self-confidence:

Many of the things you proposed make people feel better about themselves and really help build confidence. However, I am generally interested in reading your input on this topic. Time for your own plans and dreams Ka, wow, doing things differently than most people and being “fitting” in general can be difficult with less confidence.

True words are never spoken. If you lack self-confidence and self-confidence, it is impossible to make time for your dreams, free yourself from the traditional ghats and really become yourself.

On the one hand, I know that some people make a strong distinction between self-esteem and confidence. In this article, I use them interchangeably, even if there is a subtle but probably… important difference ... The difference is that you believe that you deserve respect from others (self-esteem) and that you are on your own. Believe (confidence). In the end, both amount to the same thing, and finally, the actions I follow boost both self-esteem and confidence.

Controlling your self-confidence

If you lack confidence, is it possible to do things that will change? Is your confidence under your control?

Although it may not seem like it, if you are low on confidence, I strongly believe that you can do things to boost your confidence. It’s not genetic, and you don’t have to depend on others to boost your confidence. And if you believe you are not very capable, not very smart, not very attractive, etc ... it can be changed.

You can be worthy of someone's respect, and someone who can chase what he wants despite the naysaying of others.

You can do this by taking control of your life and controlling your self-confidence. By taking concrete actions that improve your worthiness, your self-image, you can increase confidence, without the help of anyone else.

Below, I outline 25 things that will help you do just that. None of them are revolutionary, none of them will do it themselves. The list is definitely not exhaustive. These are just my favorite things, stuff that works for me.

And you don't have to do it all, as if this is a recipe… Choose and choose the one that appeals to you, maybe just a couple at first, and try them. If they work, try another. If they don't, give it a try.

Here they are not in a specific order:

1. Prove yourself. This may sound obvious, but it's amazing how much difference shower and shaving can make for your self-confidence and your self-image. There have been days when I completely changed my mood with this little thing.

2. Dress nicely. Personalization of the first item above… If you dress nicely, you will feel good about yourself. You will be successful and present and ready to solve the world. Now, dressing up means having something different for everyone… doesn’t mean you have to wear a $ 500 outfit, but it does mean you can have casual clothes that look great and present.

3. Photoshop your self-image. Our self-image means so much to us, more than we often feel. There is a mental picture of ourselves and it determines how much confidence we have in ourselves. But this picture is not fixed and changeable. You can change it. Use your mental photoshopping skills and work on your self-image. If it's not very good, replace it. Figure out why you see yourself that way and find a way to fix it.

4. Think positive. One of the things I learned when I started running, about two years ago, was how to replace negative thoughts with positive ones (see next thing). How can I really change my thoughts, and in doing so great things happen? With these little skills, I was able to train and run for a marathon in one year. It looks very small, so Norman Vincent Peel, but my god this works. Seriously. Try it if you don't have one.

5. Kill negative thoughts. Going hand in hand with the above thing, but it’s so important that I made it a different thing. You have to learn to be aware of your self-talk, your own thoughts about yourself, and what you are doing. Sometimes when I was running my mind would start saying, “This is very difficult. I want to stop and watch TV. "Well, I soon learned to recognize this negative self, and I soon learned a trick that changed everything in my life: I would imagine that negative thinking is a mistake, and I would consciously look for these mistakes." When I caught someone, I would stump him (mentally) and squash him. Kill him Then replace it with a positive one. ("Kiman, I can do this! Only one mile left!")

Know yourself and you will win all the battles. - Sun Tzu

6. Know yourself. When going into battle, the intelligent commoner learns to know his enemy very, very well. You cannot defeat the enemy without knowing it. And when you are trying to remove the negative self-image and replace it with confidence, your enemy is yourself. Get to know yourself better. Start listening to your thoughts. Start writing a journal about yourself and your thoughts about yourself and analyze why you have such negative thoughts. And then think about the good things about you, the things you can do well, the things you like. Start thinking about your limitations, and then whether they are real limitations or just where you are allowed to put them, artificially. Dig deep inside you, and you will come out with even more confidence.

7. Act positively. Rather than just thinking positive, you have to put it into action. Action, indeed, is the key to developing confidence. Learning to think positive is one thing, but when you start acting on it, you change yourself, one action at a time. You are what you do, and so if you change what you do, change what you are. Act positively, take action instead of not being able to tell yourself, you will not be positive. Positively talk to people, put energy into your actions. You will soon begin to notice a difference.

8. Be kind and generous. Oh, so polite. If this is too polite for you, go ahead. But for the rest of you, know that being kind to others, and being generous with yourself and your time and what you have, is a great way to improve your self-image. You act according to the golden rule, and you feel good about yourself, and think you are a good person. It gives wonders for your confidence, trust me.

Confidence is an important key to success. The key to confidence is preparation. - Arthur Ashe

9. Be prepared. If you don't feel good about yourself, it's hard to believe. Beat that feeling by preparing yourself as much as possible. Consider taking an exam: If you have not studied, you will not have much confidence in your abilities to perform well in the exam. But if you don’t study your butt, you’re ready, and you’ll have more confidence. Now think of life as your test, and prepare yourself.

10. Know your principles and live them. What are the principles on which your life is built? If you don't know, you will get in trouble, because your life seems directionless. For me, I try to live the golden rule (and often fail). This is my key principle and I try to live my life with it. I have others, but they are mostly related to this rule (the main exception is "my enthusiasm alive"). Think about your principles ... you may have them but you may not have given them more thought. Now think about whether you really live by these principles, or if you just believe in them but don’t act on them.

11. Speak slowly. Such a simple thing, but it can make a big difference in how other people understand you. The person in authority, the authority, speaks softly. It shows confidence. The person who thinks he is not fit to listen will speak quickly because he is not waiting for something that is not worth listening to. If you don’t feel confident in the person speaking slowly, try doing it a little. It will make you feel more confident. Of course, don’t take it to an extreme position, but just don’t rush.

12. .nacha .bha. I have a horrible posture, so giving this advice would seem hypocritical to me, but I know it works because I try so often. When I remind myself to be tall and straight, I feel better about myself. I imagine the rope pulling the top of my head towards the sky, and the rest of my body straightens accordingly. On the one hand, people who are tall and confident are more attractive. In my book, it’s a good thing any day.

13. Increase capacity. How do you feel more capable? By becoming more capable. And how do you do that? By studying and practicing. Do only small bits at a time. If you want to become a more competent writer, for example, do not try to solve the whole business of writing all at once. Just start writing more. Write a journal, blog, short stories, do some freelance writing. The more you write, the better you will become. Write 30 minutes for the day (for example) to write, and practice will increase your fitness.

14. Set a small goal and achieve it. People often make the mistake of shooting the moon and then when they fail, they get frustrated. Instead, shoot to achieve something more. Set a goal that you know you can achieve, and then achieve it. You will feel good about it. Now set another small goal and achieve it. The smaller the goals you achieve, the more you will be in it and the better you feel. Soon you should set big (but still achievable) goals and achieve them too.

15. Change a small habit. Not as big as quitting smoking. Just a little, like writing things. Or wake up 10 minutes earlier. Or drink a glass of water when you wake up. Something small that you know you can do. Do for a month. When you complete that, you feel like millions of rupees.

16. Focus on solutions. If you are a plaintiff or focus on problems, change your focus now. Focusing on solutions instead of problems is one of the best things you can do for your confidence and career. "I'm fat and lazy!" So how can you solve that? "But I can't inspire myself!" So how can you solve that? "But I don't have the strength!" So what is compromise?

17. Smile. The second triangle. But it works. I feel better immediately when I smile, and it helps me to be kind to others as well. A little small thing whose chain might be a reaction. Don't waste your time and energy.

18. Volunteer. Related to the above “Be kind and generous” item, but more specific. Now is the holiday season can you find time to volunteer for a good cause, to spread the excitement of a little holiday, to make someone else's life better? It will be some of the best times you have ever spent, and the amazing side effect is that you will immediately feel right about yourself.

19. Be grateful. I am grateful to you. Trust me, because anyone who has been reading this blog for a very long time knows it well. But I put it here because despite being thankful for what you have in life, what other people have given you is a very polite activity… it can also be a very positive and rewarding activity that will improve your self-image. read more.

20. Exercise. Happy, I put this on almost every list. But if I leave it out of this list I'll do it to get you off. Exercise has been one of my most empowering activities in the last few years, and it makes me feel so good about myself.

You only have to walk a few times a week, and you will see the benefits. Start the habit.

21. Empower yourself with knowledge. Empowering yourself is usually the best strategy to boost confidence. You can do that in many ways, but one surefire way to empower yourself is through knowledge. With the same vein of bringing skills and preparation વાથી becoming more knowledgeable, you will gain more confidence… and you will become more knowledgeable through research and study. The internet is an important tool, of course, but so are the people around you, the people you want, books, magazines, and educational institutions.

22. Do something you are thinking of. What's on your to-do list sitting there? Do it first thing in the morning, and get it out. You feel great about yourself.

23. Activate. It is always better to do something than not to do it. Of course, doing something can make mistakes… but mistakes are a part of life. This is what we learn. Without mistakes, we will never improve. So don't worry about it. Just do something. Get out of your quagmire and take steps to accomplish something - physical or active.
